Additional driver fee of $3.00 per day.

  Age

AGE - Renters and additional drivers must be minimum 21 years of age with a valid drivers license and a major credit card in their own name. Drivers 21-24 years 5 USD per day surcharge will apply. Additional drivers $3.00 USD per day surcharge. There is no charge for additional driver if spouse and over the age of 25 years. Max age or renters - 75 years. If the driver has a physical disability, there is no charge for additional driver. All valid drivers licenses accepted.

  Cancellation

CANCELLATION - A Credit Card Guarantee is require for each reservation made for locations in the Dominican Republic. Customers who fail to cancel their reservation at least 24 hours prior to the reservation through the same source that the reservation was made, or fail to show up for their rental, will be subjects to a one day of rental charge or 50.00 dollars fee, whichever is higher.

  Drivers License

DRIVERS LICENSE - Canadian, US and International valid driver license accepted. International License will be required if license is not in Roman Alphabet. International License must be accompanied by the drivers domestic license to be valid.

  Gas

GAS - Customer must deliver vehicle with the same amount of gas as received. If returned with less amount, gas will be charged at locations rate (50% over regular current gas price). The customer will have the option to prepay for the full tank at regular current gas price at check out and not have to worry anymore about gas.

  Geographic

GEOGRAPHIC - No travel outside the country. Prohibit to cross the border with Haiti.

  Honor Reservations

HOLDING RESERVED VEHICLES - Vehicles are held for two hours after reserved arrival time. When flight details are provided, we will hold vehicle for up to two hours after flight arrival. In the event of delays, you may call or e-mail us to advise of any changes in your pick up time. After the two hour window, you will be considered a no-show and we may or may not be able to honor your reservation, depending upon availability.

  Insurance

LIABILITY PROTECTION COVERAGE - IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE IS REQUIRED ON ALL RENTAL VEHICLES. THE RESERVATION ESTIMATE INCLUDES A BASIC THIRD-PARTY LIABILITY COVERAGE THAT PROTECTS YOU AGAINST CLAIMS FOR INJURY/DAMAGE YOU CAUSE TO THIRD PERSONS/THEIR PROPERTY. IT DOES NOT COVER INJURY TO YOU OR DAMAGE TO THE RENTED VEHCILE. PROPERTY DAMAGE/PUBLIC LIABILITY COVERS UP TO 8,500.00 USD. SUPPLEMENTAL LIABILITY INSURANCE (SLI) IS AN OPTIONAL COVERAGE THAT YOU MAY OBTAIN AT THE COUNTER TO INCREASE THE LIABILITY COVERAGE LIMIT TO USD 100,000.00 USD + LEGAL ASSISTANCE AND BAIL IF NEEDED FOR A COST OF 17.99 USD PER DAY. COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER - CDW - IS OPTIONAL PROVIDING THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS IS MET: WRITTEN PROOF OF COVERAGE FROM THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC FROM A THIRD PARTY IS PRESENTED AT THE TIME OF RENTAL. IF YOU HAVE PURSHASED OR ARE RELYING ON THIRD PARTY COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER ANY DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD AND THE RENTER WILL NEED TO SEEK REIMBURSMENT FROM THE THIRD-PARTY POLICY. THE PRESENTATION OF A CREDIT CARD OR A PERSONAL AUTO INSURANCE IS NOT PROOF OF COVERAGE. A 3,000.00 USD CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF RENTAL. WITHOUT PROOF THE RENTER WILL BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER. COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW) REDUCES YOUR FINANCIAL LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE / ITS PARTS AND ACCESORIES / EXCEPT FOR THEFT / ATTEMPTED THEFT OR VANDALISM / PROVIDED THE VEHICLE IS USED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT. CDW INSURANCE DEDUCTIBLE IS 1000.00 USD FOR ECONOMY THROUGH STANDARD VEHICLES / 2500.00 USD FOR SPECIALTY VEHICLES / VANS AND SUVS. EXCLUSIONS APPLY. COST 19.95 USD PER RENTAL DAY. YOU MAY PURCHASE A DEDUCTIBLE WAIVER FOR USD 7.00 PER DAY AT THE COUNTER TO MAKE THE DEDUCTIBLE CERO. If vehicle is not pick up you can avoid this fee by cancelling your reservation through the same website you made it, you cannot call or write to cancel you can cancel only through the website where the reservation was made at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time. Prepaid reservations-if you have a prepaid reservation your Credit Card will be charged in full at the time you made your reservation. The Credit Card that you paid your reservation must be present at the time of pick up. Refund and cancellation policy-a prepaid reservation is a nonrefundable booking. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or credit. Please be advised that there may be a charge of up to USD$150.00 handling fee for canceling. PAYMENT WILL BE CHARGED AT THE COUNTER AT THE TIME OF RENTAL. FOR PAYMENT THIS LOCATION ACCEPTS AMEX, VISA, MASTER CARD, CARTE BLANCHE, DINERS CLUB AND DISCOVER CREDIT CARDS. CASH ACCEPTED FOR PAYMENT. PERSONAL CHECKS NOT ACCEPTED. NO REFUNDS ARE MADE FOR EARLY VEHICLE RETURNS OR CONTRACT CANCELLATIONS.A SECURITY DEPOSIT WITH A CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION EQUAL TO USD 200 TO 3,000 IS REQUIRED AT THE COUNTER. AMOUNT DEPENDS ON THE VEHICLE CLASS AND OPTIONAL INSURANCE POLICY SELECTED (SEE INSURANCE AND CDW SECTION). THE AUTHORIZATION WILL BE CAPTURED AT TIME OF RENTAL. THIS AUTHORIZATION MAY BE USED TOWARD LATE CHARGES, DAMAGES TO THE VEHICLE OR ANY OTHER OUTSTANDING BALANCE UPON RETURN. UNUSED FUNDS WILL BE RELEASED AFTER THE VEHICLE IS RETURNED AND ALL CHARGES HAVE BEEN PAID.   KEYLESS_POLICIES

When you arrive at the rental office: • There is no need to go to the counter or kiosk. • Prepare to show the gate agent your reservation in the Skip The Counter app, your driver is license, and your credit card. • At the start time of your reservation chosen in the app, you will be assigned a license plate number. You can find the vehicle in our parking lot. • The keys are in the vehicle. Unlock the doors with the app, drive to the exit gate, and enjoy the service. This optional service is offered at certain offices. Please check if your office offers this service.
